M&C Saatchi are now hosting an exhibition by DAYDREAM magazine. the two guys who set it up, Hugo and Avue came to see me a few months ago and explained their cause..... to print a mag bi-monthly and encourage all young artists,photographers writers etc to have a 'Daydream'and fill a page or two in the mag.
I thought it was such a great idea that i sneaked them into the offices of M&C Saatchi over the bank holiday and told them to graffiti the walls and get all their artists to put stuff up everywhere. when everyone came in on the tuesday morning they were blown away.
Maurice Saatchi in particular loved it.

i thought you might be interested to take a look at our new ad for TFL. ( transport for London ) the brief is to get people to cycle a bit more often, rather than automatically taking their cars out.

as i write this ive been creative director at M&C Saatchi for just over two years. it has been a time of radical changes to the creative department and the agency as a whole. this year we had a very successful time in terms of great work. winning a Gold Lion at Cannes and being nominated at D&AD for our work on TFL ( transport for London ) . the award winning spot for 'the day you went to work' also won a one show pencil and a BTA award. other work we did for ITV also did well in the award shows. check out these few links to see them.

i am always looking out for new and interesting young teams. the competition is really tough but if you're good and different i want to hear from you. last year i hired 6 young students. i have just hired two more. if you want to get your work in front of me come to the next session of theartschool at the ICA in london ( dec 5th ) or send me your work at M&C Saatchi.
its probably worth saying that i want to see non traditional work in your book as well as Press,posters and TV.

i have posted a new brief on to the site.

i have a couple of creative teams here at M&C Saatchi who also work on the account, they will give feedback on your work. anything we think especially brilliant, will be presented to our Ladbrokes client. if your work is used you will be given the opportunity of a placement here at M&C Saatchi.

its a new year and we are planning more sessions of theartschool. these have been amazingly successful in the past with some brilliant speakers. not least gary oldman, alan yentob, jeremy sinclair, trevor beattie. so if you want to come register here so you can be notified of dates and details. the sessions normally last a whole afternoon and touch on a range of things, they are great fun and also a good way to network and find a writer or art director partner. quite a number of people have got jobs or placements from attending.more details soon.
